BRETTACORP INC. - ONE TREE MATTERS
Caring for the planet runs in the family. Bygreen proudly supports Mick’s amazing uncle Brett. He founded this not-for-profit in Tully in 2016 to build Miyawaki forests. These forests protect and provide habitat for endangered and threatened species such as the Southern Cassowary and Mahogany Glider.
To date they have been able to build 10 forests, which are self-sustaining. The proceeds they receive go directly into planting native trees into the ground. This not only protects our wildlife but importantly helps reduce greenhouse gases. Every $10 received means another tree is planted – guaranteed. In 2022, Brettacorp are proud to have built their own nursery, further increasing their capacity to do good.
Currently, 1% of all profits raised from the sale of our One Tree wooden cutlery is being donated to Brettacorp Inc. to assist with the planting of Miyawaki Forests in the North Queensland region.

Bygreen are proud to support SIPweek and the Perry Cross Foundation, for the work that they do to help find a cure for paralysis.
Paralysis has a devastating impact on tens of thousands of lives in Australia and millions globally. We strongly believe in their vision of funding world class research aimed at curing paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. Thereby supporting better outcomes for those living with paralysis.
As a straw manufacturer, we play an important part in supporting those with disabilities. It gives us a great sense of pride to sponsor and provide solutions for SIP week and the volunteers. We work closely with the foundation to support their efforts and provide both straws and funding to support their work. We look forward to continuing to support this amazing foundation.
